What is Homebot Home Search?

Homebot Home Search enables your clients to safely browse markets and explore homes for sale nationwide (including major metro areas and top 200 MLSs.), all while you're front and center on every listing. Your clients gain personalized financial insights for each property, empowering them to make confident decisions. Each listing provides a fully editable mortgage calculator that makes it easy to understand affordability based on the client's budget and current market data.

Best of all, you stay connected with clients along their home-buying journey! In Homebot Home Search, your contact information appears on each listing, with ways for clients to send you a message or request a tour when they want to learn more about a property.

How Homebot Home Search Works

Your database of homeowners and buyers have easy access to Homebot Home Search through their Homebot reports and the automated monthly emails.

Homeowners and buyers can easily jump into the Home Search experience using the navigation bar at the top of their report. Listings are also featured throughout the homeowner report (for lenders and agents who are co-sponsored by a lender).

When your clients land on the search homepage, they'll know what to do! Simply type in where they're looking for homes, and voila: Homebot's search portal will display properties in that area.

Home Search Functionalities

Clients using Homebot Home Search can:

  • Safely search MLS listings nationwide.

  • Filter results based on search criteria (monthly payment, purchase price, home type, sq. footage, etc.).

  • Filter search results for listings with assumables and seller concessions.

  • Save searches for easy access and receive weekly or daily notifications, if desired.

  • Favorite homes for daily or weekly listing updates, if desired.

  • Schedule a tour or request to be prequalified. You'll be notified via email.

  • View open house information and add appointment details to their calendar. This action will populate in the activity feed of your portal and we'll cc you on an email to the listing agent if added to their calendar.

  • Customize a fully editable mortgage calculator on every listing.

  • Navigate to a real estate agent's preferred IDX when Custom Listings is turned on (for agents only).

Additionally, when Home Search is enabled, we automatically curate galleries of listings tailored to buyers and homeowners in their chosen market. These galleries showcase properties with Price Drops, Recently Sold homes, Assumable Mortgages, and more! Explore galleries HERE.

As your clients use Homebot Home Search, you'll see their engagement in your Activity Feed. You'll know the moment someone starts their house hunt, and you can leverage your Activity Feed and Key Client Lists to know who you should call!

Keep an eye on your email inbox for direct messages from clients. Buyers who are seriously searching for a home will reach out with questions or request to be prequalified.

Important notes

  • Lenders should add a preferred agent to their buyer's profile. That way, their agent will receive the questions sent on a particular home instead of the listing agent. Agents on Homebot will receive all listing inquiries, not the listing agent. More about buyer profiles HERE.

  • Real estate agents on Homebot will need a lender co-sponsor to provide Home Search to clients and prospects. Here's an article explaining the benefits of having a lender co-sponsor and another on how to secure one.

  • We are required to feature the listing agent on each home for sale, however, agents on Homebot will receive all inquiries on a property, not the listing agent. More on that HERE.
