In this article, I'll break down the digest settings section of your account and provide a preview of each automated email sent to homeowners and buyers.

Where to find your digest settings and how it works:

Your digest settings can be found by navigating to Account in the top right corner, clicking on Manage Profile & Settings, and selecting Digest Settings.

Digest settings are turned on (toggled pink). Once a client is added to your account, they'll automatically receive a welcome email followed by their first homeowner digest or buyer report.

To turn off an email, you'll toggle the pink button grey, located to the left of the email, and then click Save.

Below is an example of how you can turn off one or all of the monthly emails:

IMPORTANT:

  • You cannot pause or turn off a homeowner digest or buyer report for an individual client. Digest settings are for all of your homeowners or buyers. You can, however, unsubscribe an individual homeowner or buyer.

  • You cannot change the frequency of when the emails are sent. They're sent every 30 days.

After a few months of inactivity from a client, we will automatically reduce the digest frequency to quarterly until they re-engage. If they do not re-engage, we consider the client cold and will no longer send them an email. You can find these clients under the issues tab.

Digest settings for homeowners:

Aside from the Welcome Email, homeowners will receive 2 emails from you through Homebot each month: the Home Report Update and Your Market Update.

Check out this article to learn more about the homeowner digest.

WELCOME EMAIL FOR HOMEOWNERS

The welcome email lets your clients know about Homebot before it arrives. It explains what Homebot is and the value they'll get from it. The welcome email is sent just moments before their very first digest and can be edited from the digest settings of your account. Find out what the welcome email says and how you can customize it.

Below is an example of the welcome email for homeowners:

You have the option to change the subject line and body of the email from the digest settings section of your Homebot account.

HOME REPORT EMAIL FOR HOMEOWNERS

Clients added as a homeowner will receive the home report update email every 30 days. Once they click the CTA in pink "See your value," they'll be taken directly to their homeowner digest where they can track their home's value and discover ways to leverage their equity.

Below is an example of the home report update email for homeowners:

The subject line of the home report update email says "Your home report has been updated for [insert client address]. The body of the email says "Your new home value estimate is ready." When they click "See your value", they're taken directly to their homeowner digest.

MARKET UPDATE EMAIL FOR HOMEOWNERS

In addition to the home report email, homeowners will receive a second monthly email specific to their local market conditions. This email will be sent about 2 weeks after the home report email each month.

It's important to note that if a homeowner is already receiving the buyer's report, they will not receive this market update email. In other words, if a client is added as both a homeowner and a buyer, they will only receive the home report update and the monthly report for buyers.

The Your Market Update email will provide a quick snapshot of how their market is doing based on their zip code. Once they click on the CTA in pink, they'll be taken to the Should You Sell module of the homeowner's digest where they can get a better understanding of their selling position.

Temperatures for the market will show as:

  • In high demand

  • In demand

  • Balanced

  • Cool

  • Cold

We'll also indicate the trajectory of the market, whether it's:

  • Picking up

  • Holding steady

  • Cooling down

Below are two examples of the market update email for homeowners.

The subject line will change depending on market conditions for that particular zip code.

The body of the email matches the subject line and will also change depending on market conditions for that particular zip code.

Digest settings for buyers:

Aside from the Welcome Email, buyers will receive just 1 email from you through Homebot each month: the Monthly Report email.

WELCOME EMAIL FOR BUYERS

Same as the welcome email for homeowners, the welcome email for buyers lets your prospects and clients know about Homebot before it arrives. It explains what Homebot is and the value they'll get from it. The welcome email is sent just moments before their very first report and can be customized from the digest settings of your account. Find out what the welcome email says and how you can customize it.

Below is an example of the welcome email for buyers:

The subject line of the welcome email for buyers says "I've set you up with Homebot for Buyers."

You have the option to change the subject line and body of the email from the digest settings section of your Homebot account.

MONTHLY REPORT EMAIL FOR BUYERS

Prospects and clients added as a buyer will receive a buyer report email every 30 days. By clicking on the CTA's in pink, they'll be taken directly to their buyer report where they can explore markets of interest, request to be prequalified, and more.

Check out this article to learn more about the buyer report.

Below is an example of the monthly report email for buyers:

The subject line says "[Client Name]: The [client market] is changing in [current month]. The body of the email says "Your new market report is ready." If they click on a call to action in pink, they're taken directly into their buyer report.
