The Automated Monthly Emails and How to Turn Them On/Off

Learn about the monthly Homebot emails, when they go out, and how you can turn them on and off for your entire database.

In this article, we break down the digest settings section of your account and provide a preview of each automated email sent to your database.

How to turn the automated emails on and off

Digest settings are enabled when the buttons are toggled pink. With settings turned on, clients will automatically begin receiving their Home Digest or Home Search experience as soon as they’re added to your account.

If the buttons are toggled grey, no communications will be sent.

Don’t forget to click Save if you make any changes.

Find your digest settings under the ACCOUNT tab and select Digest Settings.

IMPORTANT:

  • You cannot pause or turn off a Home Digest Update email or Home Search monthly email for an individual client. Digest settings are for all of your homeowners or all of your buyers.

  • You cannot change the frequency of when the emails are sent. They're sent approximately every 30 days.

  • After a few months of inactivity from a client, we will automatically reduce the digest frequency to quarterly until they re-engage. If they do not re-engage, we consider the client cold and will no longer send them an email.


Automated emails for homeowners

Aside from the Welcome Email, homeowners will receive 2 emails from you through Homebot each month: the Home Digest Update and Your Market Updates.

Welcome Email for Homeowners

The welcome email lets your clients know about Homebot before it arrives. It explains what Homebot is and the value they'll get from it. The welcome email is sent just moments before their very first digest and can be edited from the digest settings of your account. Find out what the welcome email says and how you can customize it.

Home Digest Updates for Homeowners

Clients added as homeowners will receive the Home Digest Update email about every 30 days. Once they click the CTA in pink "See your value," they'll be taken directly to their Home Digest experience where they can track their home's value and discover ways to leverage their equity.

Your Market Updates Email for Homeowners

In addition to the Home Digest Update, homeowners will receive a second monthly email specific to their local market conditions. This email will be sent about 2 weeks after the Home Digest email each month.

IMPORTANT: if a homeowner is also receiving the Home Search experience, they will not receive this Your Market Updates email. In other words, if a client is added as both a homeowner and a buyer, they will only receive the Home Digest Update and the Home Search monthly email for buyers.

The Your Market Update email will provide a quick snapshot of how their market is doing based on their zip code. Once they click on the CTA in pink, they'll be taken to the Should You Sell module of the homeowner's digest where they can get a better understanding of their selling position.

Temperatures for the market will show as:

  • In high demand

  • In demand

  • Balanced

  • Cool

  • Cold

We'll also indicate the trajectory of the market, whether it's:

  • Picking up

  • Holding steady

  • Cooling down

Additionally, we feature New listings in their zip code from the "For You" Galleries section of the Home Search experience. Learn more about Galleries HERE.

Automated emails for buyers

Aside from the Welcome Email, buyers will receive just 1 email from you through Homebot each month: the Home Search monthly email.

Welcome Email for Buyers

The welcome email is a vibrant and exciting introduction to Homebot designed to engage and convert. They can access their Home Search experience right away and add their home address to opt-in and unlock instant access to powerful homeowner insights.

It's highly recommended that you customize the welcome message. This is the first email your buyers receive, so go ahead and add your personal touch. Learn how HERE.

Home Search Monthly Email for Buyers

Buyer's receive their Home Search experience every 30 days. We'll display market stats for their desired zip codes, curated galleries of listings in their locations of interest, a subtle ad for the mobile app, and an opportunity to add their home address to unlock highly personalized home wealth content.
