How do I work with my agent co-sponsor?

Learn how you can foster a successful Homebot relationship with your Agents from the very beginning.

Written by Erica McGarvey

The ideas below rely on the agent setting up their Homebot account and adding past clients and prospects. If they still need to take this crucial first step, begin with this article.

Lenders do not have access to an agents database unless provided login credentials.

Start by meeting in person or on a Zoom call to share your screen. If neither is possible, give the Agent a call to go over the following:

  1. Go through the activity feed. Offer to call top engaged clients and prospects together. Use these tips to coach them on how to use Homebot as a conversation starter.

  2. Collaborate on video. Use Video Email to deliver market updates and trends to their database. Embed an Intro to Refinancing and Prequalification video into your own account and be sure to enable the agents audience so that they'll populate on the reports sent to the agents' database.

  3. Explore opportunity lists. Find clients and prospects to call at the top of your likely to sell, likely to buy, high equity, and refi candidates list.

  4. Handoff CMA requests directly from your account. You can assign CMA requests to the agents you co-sponsor directly from your account. You can learn how to do so here.

  5. Invite agents to our live weekly trainings. Register on our website here.

Note: If you share clients with your co-sponsored agents and they're added to your separate databases, we'll automatically pause the report delivered by the lender and send it only from the agent. To learn more, check out this article.
