This article will explain how clients in your Homebot database can download the Mobile App.
🚨Best practice: If you'd like to download the app to experience it first-hand, add yourself as a client to your Homebot account using a personal email. If you try to sign in using the email associated with your Homebot account, it will not work.
The mobile app is for your database to download. It is not for lenders and agents to manage their Homebot account. To learn more about the Mobile App, check out this article.
Connect the Mobile App
First, make sure the Mobile App is connected. To do this, navigate to the ACCOUNT tab and select Power Ups.
How existing clients download the Mobile App
Existing clients in your Homebot account will have instant access and can download the App through “ads” strategically placed within their Homebot experience.
These "ads" will be shown in:
Homebot monthly emails
The homeowner digest
Home Search for buyers
Existing clients can also find and download the app directly from the Apple or Android app stores. The app is titled Homebot. More on that below!
Once the app is downloaded, they'll be prompted to:
Enter the same email address associated with their Homebot report
Enter the 6-digit code immediately sent to their email
"Ad" placement
Homebot monthly emails
The homeowner digest
Home Search for buyers
Sharing a direct link to the app store
If you'd like to send a direct link to the iOS or Android app store, click on the links under the Find the app option on the SHARE tab of your account.
🚨Best practice
Send a Video Email to your homeowners or buyers to let them know they can download the mobile app. Or use Video Manager to welcome homeowners and buyers to Homebot and encourage downloads from the beginning.
