How to Generate Leads With the Homebot Mobile App

There are several ways to share the Homebot Mobile App to generate leads. This article provides step-by-step instructions for connecting the mobile app, how it works, and some creative ways to use it.

Connect the mobile app

First, you'll want to make sure the Mobile App is connected. To do this, navigate to ACCOUNT > Power Ups tab. Click +Get Started to connect. If you've already connected the Mobile App, it will say Connected.


How to share the mobile app

Navigate to the SHARE tab and click on Mobile app. You'll find a few ways to generate leads using the Mobile App:

  1. Copy and share your custom link via social media, email campaigns, or other channels.

  2. Copy and create a QR code to share on print marketing materials.

  3. Guide your leads to find and download the app directly from the iOS or Android App Store.

IMPORTANT: How leads and existing clients download the app

  • New clients/leads who are not yet in your Homebot database must input your app code to successfully sign up with you once they've downloaded the app. Your app code

  • Existing clients in your Homebot account should not need the app code, but once they download the app, they must sign in using the email address associated with their Homebot report. They'll then be prompted to enter a 6-digit code sent to their email address to complete the download. To learn how your existing Homebot database can download the Mobile App, click HERE.


Using your custom link

Your custom link is a landing page unique to your Homebot account. The custom link will route people to the appropriate app store based on their device (Apple Store or Google Play) to download the app and connect with you.

You can share your custom mobile app link on social media, in email camaigns, or on print marketing materials. Find some creative ways to use your Mobile App custom link in this help article.

How to turn your custom link into a QR code

QR codes offer an easy and convenient way for people to connect with you and learn more about your business. You can use your custom link to create a Mobile app QR code for print marketing materials.

A QR code can be generated using websites like QR code generator and QR code monkey. Simply copy your custom link, paste it into your chosen QR code generator, download it, and then paste it onto your marketing materials.

We provide this customizable mobile app flyer for you to use.

Add your QR code in the designated space and add some text below it. See the example below. Instead of or in addition to, "Scan to download to your device," you may also say "Enter this app code [enter your app code here] when prompted."

Here are some creative ways to start using your QR code:

  • Neighborhood farming and community newsletters

  • Put it on the back of your business card

  • Drop cupcakes off at professional businesses with a card attached

  • Post flyers in country clubs or other establishments


Your app code

Your app code looks like erica4296 and can be found under the SHARE tab > Mobile App subtab. The app code is not customizable through your account. This app code MUST accompany your custom link when sharing with anyone who is not yet in your Homebot database.

For example, if you are sharing on social media, please include your custom link to direct them to the app store AND your app code so they can successfully connect with you.


Share a direct link to the app stores

You can share a direct link to the iOS and Android App Stores to encourage new and existing clients to download the Homebot Mobile App.

  • Existing clients must sign in using the email address associated with their Homebot Digest and use the 6-digit code sent to their email.

  • New clients/leads must input your app code when prompted to successfully sign up with you through the app.
