The Homebot Network for Preferred Agents

The Homebot Network connects you, the preferred agent, directly with buyers and homeowners at key moments in their journey, all within the Homebot experience sent by their lender. You’ll be showcased as the go-to real estate expert, helping clients get fast, accurate answers to questions about their home, market, and next move.

No subscription? No problem. You don’t need a Homebot account to benefit from being a preferred agent.

How preferred agents are added to The Network

You may be added to the Homebot Network in one of three ways:

  • Automatically through the Homebot Network based on historical transactions

  • Manually by a lender on behalf of a mutual client

  • Directly by the client

Once added, you’ll be notified via email and featured on that client’s Homebot report.

What happens next?

If you’ve been notified that you’re now featured on a past client’s report, you’re all set! Just make sure your profile includes:

  • Your name and email (verify for accuracy)

  • A photo, logo, and company name (enhances your profile for a more polished experience for your clients)

Your brand will appear wherever your past client sees real estate-related insights in their Homebot Digest. Direct messages will be sent to you anytime that client reaches out with a real estate question (like requesting a CMA, exploring buying options, and market insights).

Where preferred agents are featured

You’ll appear across a variety of real estate touchpoints in the Homebot report, including:

  • Tune your value module

  • Home Search experiences

  • Your Team drop-down

  • Market and listing modules

  • Schedule a Tour workflow

  • And more!

Communicating with the lender

If a client reaches out, you and their lender will be cc’d on the email, making it easy to collaborate with your shared client. There’s nothing you need to do proactively, but you’re always welcome to reach out to your lender and/or client first.

FAQ’s

How do preferred agents get added to the Homebot Network?

Preferred agents can be added automatically through the Homebot Network, by a lender on behalf of a client, or by the buyer themselves.

Good news—preferred agents don’t need a Homebot subscription to take advantage of the Homebot Network.

What do preferred agents have access to?

If you don’t have a Homebot subscription, you’ll have access to:

  • Homebot Profile Manager, where you can manage how your brand appears in Homebot reports for your clients. Click HERE to log in.

  • Email notification whenever you’re added as a preferred agent for a client on Homebot

  • Email notification whenever a client has a real-estate related question for you when reviewing their Homebot report

Can preferred agents communicate with the lender?

The lender may reach out to connect directly. In the meantime, there's nothing you need to do unless one of their clients reaches out first. If that happens, you’ll be sent an email with the lender cc’d and can introduce yourself then.

Can I opt out?

You can unsubscribe from emails or remove yourself from the Homebot Network altogether from the welcome email you received from us.

If you’d like to be removed from a particular client, please contact [email protected].
