The Homebot Network connects you, the preferred loan officer, directly with clients and prospects at key moments in their journey, all within the Homebot experience sent by their Real Estate Agent, Title, or Insurance Agent. You’ll be showcased as the go-to financial expert, helping clients get fast, accurate answers to questions about their equity, refinance options, prequal options, and more – presenting a great opportunity for new and repeat business.

No subscription? No problem. You don’t need a paid Homebot account to benefit from being a preferred loan officer.

Check out the video below or continue reading for more information.

How preferred loan officers are added to The Network

You may be added to the Homebot Network in one of three ways:

  • Automatically through the Homebot Network based on historical transactions

  • Manually by a Real Estate Agent, Title, or Insurance Agent on Homebot

  • Directly by your past clients in their Homebot

Once added, you’ll be notified via email and featured on that client’s Home Digest and Home Search experiences.

What happens next?

If you’re already an active Homebot loan officer, there’s nothing else you need to do. You’re all set! If you’re curious where you’ll be featured and what that looks like to clients and prospects, continue to the next section of this article.

If you don’t have an active Homebot subscription and want to elevate your brand appearance, you’ll need to sign up for Homebot to customize your profile with a photo and company logo. You can learn more about Homebot by clicking here or contact [email protected] directly.

Communicating with the agent on Homebot

If a client reaches out, you’ll be notified by email with their Real Estate Agent, Title, or Insurance Agent cc’d, making it easy to collaborate with your shared client. There’s nothing you need to do proactively, but you’re always welcome to reach out to your agent and/or client first.

Communications you’ll receive

  • A weekly roll-up email anytime you're added to a client profile as their preferred loan officer

  • Email notifications any time a client asks a finance-related question or requests a prequal

FAQ’s

  1. How do preferred loan officers get added to the Homebot Network?

Preferred loan officers can be added automatically through the Homebot Network, by an agent on behalf of a client, or by the client themselves.

Good news: preferred loan officers don’t need a Homebot subscription to take advantage of the Homebot Network.

  2. What do preferred loan officers have access to?

If you don’t have a Homebot subscription, you’ll have access to:

    • Email notifications whenever you’re added as a preferred loan officer for a client.

    • Email notifications whenever a client has a finance- related question.

  3. Can preferred loan officers communicate with the agent?

The agent may reach out to connect directly. In the meantime, there's nothing you need to do unless one of their clients reaches out first. If that happens, you’ll be sent an email with the lender cc’d and can introduce yourself then.

  4. Can I opt out?

You can unsubscribe from emails or remove yourself from the Homebot Network altogether from the welcome email you received from us.

If you’d like to be removed from a particular client, please contact [email protected].
