How to add a preferred professional

Through the Homebot Network, you can manually add one or more preferred professionals to your client’s profile. Once added, they’ll show up on the client’s Home Digest and Home Search experience, while also being notified of any industry-related questions.

Example: Questions about the market will notify a real estate agent, insurance inquiries will notify an insurance agent, and finance-related questions will notify a loan officer.

Best of all: it’s completely free, and preferred professionals don’t need a Homebot subscription to be added as preferred.

Important: Your client must confirm the preferred professional before they're notified of any questions.


Who can add whom

  • Loan Officers can add a preferred real estate agent and/or insurance agent.

  • Title Agents can add a preferred loan officer, real estate agent, and/or insurance agent.

  • Insurance Agents can add a preferred loan officer and/or real estate agent.

A loan officer cannot add a preferred real estate agent who is already on Homebot and co-sponsored by a lender.


Step by step instructions

Step 1: Navigate to your client’s profile.
Step 2: Click on the Team tab.
Step 3: Hit Add an agent and enter their first name, last name, and email.
