How we determine if someone is motivated to refinance

Motivated to Refi Key Client List explained

We consider clients Motivated for a Refi when they match the following criteria:

  • Their loan was originated more than 6 months ago

  • Their monthly payments would decrease if they were to refinance

  • They interacted with the Refi Module or requested a Mortgage Coach TCA

Additionally, our Refi Eligibility Calculator runs on every homeowner's report to determine if they are in a good position to refinance. If they meet the criteria above, we'll display this "news" in the automated home report update email as shown in the image below. When they click 'Learn More' they'll be taken directly to the refinance module.


Where to find Motivated Clients

When clients meet the above criteria, they'll automatically be added to the "Motivated to Refi" Key Client List under the "Timely Opportunities" category in the CLIENTS section of your portal. If you don't see the Motivated to Refi card when you click on Timely Opportunities, you do not have clients that meet the criteria.
