How shared clients work
When a lender co-sponsors an agent, Homebot cross-references each database to find shared clients between them. This ensures clients don't receive duplicate reports.
Clients are considered "shared" when the email and home address are identical in their separate databases.
Shared clients only relate to Homeowners; we do not have a concept of shared buyers in our system.
Pausing Reports
Since lenders are featured on every report sent by the agent, we automatically pause the lender’s report and default to sending it solely from the agent.

When a shared client sends a direct message through the report, the lender will still be notified via email, and it will populate under the Messages section of their portal.
