What happens if my client purchases a home?

One frequently asked question is: “If I have a client already in Homebot and they purchase a new home, will Homebot automatically update it, or do I need to add it?”

Homebot can’t automatically detect when a homeowner sells their property and purchases a new one, or when a buyer becomes a homeowner. This article walks through how to manually update a client’s profile to reflect those changes.

How to remove a home address and add a new one

Step 1: Select the Homes tab and click Edit

Step 2: Click Delete home

Step 3: Click Add a home to enter their new address

How to remove buyer details and add a home

Step 1: Select the Home Search tab and click Remove all Home Search data

Step 2: Select the Homes tab and then click Add a home to enter their new address
