How to update a client's home address

In this article learn how to update your clients home address and add a co-owner/co-borrower/additional email address.

Due to how we collect data on your client's home, a home address cannot be edited after they've been added to Homebot's system. Instead, the new address must be added and the old one deleted.

You can add a new address for your client in the following ways:

  1. Directly from the ADD CLIENT tab.

  2. By clicking +Add Home from your client's digest

Once you've added the new client's address, delete the old address from the client's profile.

Co-borrowers will not be auto-connected to the new address. You'll need to add them manually. See the instructions at the bottom of this article.


ADD A HOME FROM YOUR CLIENT'S DIGEST

Search and select your client from the CLIENTS tab:

Click Preview client report from the client's profile page:

From the homeowner report, Click Add a Home on the left:

Enter the new address for your client:

Once the new address is added, select the old address from the drop-down menu (you may need to refresh your screen first):

Click 'Back to Client' in the top left corner:

Select Delete this home. Double check it's the correct address you want to delete:

Confirm you'd like to delete this home in the pop-up:

That's it! Your client will now start receiving a digest for the new address and stop receiving the old one. 


ADD A CO-BORROWER

To add a co-borrower or an additional email address on a client's profile, find the client and follow the instructions below:
