Learn how to connect Follow Up Boss and how the integration works.

We’re excited to share that Real Estate Agents can effortlessly integrate Follow Up Boss with Homebot!

If you have a Follow Up Boss account and are ready to get started, follow these steps:

Step 1: Visit integrations.homebot.ai to start the signup process.

Step 2: Enter the email address associated with your Homebot account in the signup form when prompted.

Step 3: After submitting the form, you’ll see a confirmation screen like the one shown below. Please allow 24-48 hours for verification of your Homebot account. Once verified, your account will be activated.

While your account is being activated, you can use the tag #Homebot_Import for some or all of your contacts in Follow Up Boss (FUB). This will ensure your database is automatically imported once your account becomes active. During the signup process described above, you’ll also encounter a helpful video that provides more details on this topic.


How the integration works:

From Follow Up Boss, you'll be able to:

  • Add sellers to Homebot

  • Add buyers to Homebot

  • Remove sellers, buyers, and properties from Homebot

  • Send homeowner report to sellers

  • Get Client Activity Events from Homebot in CRM

  • View homeowner Likely-to-sell scores - COMING SOON!

Adding and removing tags in FUB enables you to perform the following actions. Click the links below for detailed video instructions:

  1. Add sellers to Homebot #Seller_Homebot

  2. Add buyers to Homebot #Buyer_Homebot

  3. Send homeowner reports to sellers #Homebot_Send-Digest

  4. Remove clients from Homebot #Homebot_Remove-Client

  5. Remove properties from Homebot #Homebot_Remove-Home

  6. Remove both clients and properties from Homebot #Homebot_Remove-Both

After completing one of the actions above, a success or failure tag will automatically appear for the contact, accompanied by a detailed note. Click HERE to view the complete list of FUB tags.

How to add sellers to Homebot through Follow Up Boss

Step 1: Ensure you have the required client information for homeowners:

  • First and last name

  • Valid email

  • Home address (street number, zip code, unit # if applicable)

Step 2: Add tags

  • Add tag #Seller_Homebot to the lead for automatic input into Homebot account

  • Confirmation details received for creating automation or further integration setups

Seller contacts can also include co-owners or co-borrowers:

A successful seller import looks like:

  • A note confirming completion and success

  • Client email and its validity

  • Verification results for email

  • Link to the client profile in Homebot and associated home address


How to add buyers to Homebot through Follow Up Boss

Please note: Agents on Homebot must have a lender co-sponsor to add buyers. Learn more HERE.

Step 1: Ensure you have the required client information for buyers:

  • First and last name

  • Valid email

  • Zip codes of interest

Step 2: Add tags

  • Add tag #Buyer_Homebot to the lead for automatic input into Homebot account

  • Confirmation details received for creating automation or further integration setups

A successful buyer import looks like:

  • A note confirming completion and success

  • Client email and its validity

  • Verification results for email

  • Link to the client profile in Homebot and associated buyer details

Tags in Follow Up Boss

When you want to take a desired action for a Homebot client in your FUB CRM, you'll use the following tags to execute the automation.

Action Tags, Buyer-Seller-Digest

  • #Seller_Homebot - Add Contact and Home to Homebot Account

  • #Buyer_Homebot - Add Contact as Buyer into Homebot Account

  • #Homebot_Send-Digest - Send Seller Digest to Contact in Homebot

  • #Homebot_Import - The Import Tag, Clients use within 24 hours of signing up to Apply to leads they wish to import Upon the Activation of the Integration

    • Once you've signed up, you can apply this tag to all or a select number of clients so that once your account is active, they will auto import to your Homebot database.

Remove Tags

  • #Homebot_Remove-Both - Remove both Contact & Address from Homebot Account

  • #Homebot_Remove-Client - Remove Contact Only from Homebot Account

When using action tags, you'll receive a Success tab or a failure tag if the system is unable to process the desired action.
