Why did I receive an email from Homebot about my listing?

For listing agents: why Homebot emailed you about a listing, and how to stop future emails.

Written by Erica McGarvey

If you're the listing agent on a home and received an email from Homebot with the subject "Regarding your listing at [street address]", here's why.

Why you received this email

The homeowner you're representing is a client of a Homebot customer, usually their loan officer. Homebot gives homeowners ongoing insights about their home's value and equity, on behalf of the professionals they work with.

When that homeowner's home is listed for sale, Homebot lets them know, and sends you, the listing agent, a companion email at the contact address on your MLS listing. It's a single email tied to that listing.

Key rules to know

  • How often: One email per listing, sent when the home first appears as listed.

  • Where it's sent: To the listing agent contact address on the MLS listing.

  • When it isn't sent: If the homeowner's primary Homebot pro is a real estate agent, Homebot doesn't send this email.

How to stop receiving these emails

Contact Homebot support at [email protected] with the email address you'd like removed. We'll take you off future listing agent emails.
