BombBomb Integration

Learn how BombBomb works with Homebot, how to connect it, and how to use it to send personalized video messages to your clients.

What Is BombBomb?

BombBomb is a video messaging platform that lets you record and send personalized videos directly to individual clients. When connected to Homebot, you can record a video from inside a client's Home Digest or Home Search report — walking them through their specific data — and send it in one seamless flow.

It's one of the most powerful ways to turn a passive monthly email into a personal, high-impact conversation.


Requirements

  • An active, paid BombBomb account

  • A Homebot account (Loan Officer or Agent)

Important: Log out of your BombBomb account before connecting. If you're still logged in to BombBomb in your browser, the integration won't work.


How to Connect BombBomb

  1. Navigate to the Account tab → Power-Ups section.

  2. Find the BombBomb card and click + Get Started.

  3. Click + Connect, sign in to your BombBomb account, and confirm authorization.

Once connected, a Record a BombBomb button will appear when you preview any client's Home Digest or Home Search report.

How It Works in Homebot

Once the integration is active, here's the workflow:

  1. Go to the Clients tab and find a client you want to reach out to.

  2. Review their activity to understand what they've been exploring — refinance scenarios, calculators, listings, etc.

  3. Click Preview Digest or Preview Report from their profile to open their personalized report.

  4. Click Record a BombBomb from inside the report to record a video that speaks directly to what you see on screen.

  5. Add a call-to-action link (calendar, loan app, etc.) before sending.

  6. Send — and set a reminder to follow up with a call.

You can track video open rates and engagement stats directly through BombBomb after sending.


How to Use BombBomb Effectively

React to client activity

Use your Activity Feed to identify clients who've recently explored their report — viewed refi details, tuned their home value, or started the buyer onboarding process. A personalized video that speaks to exactly what they were looking at is far more compelling than a generic follow-up call.

Generate leads on social media

Record a video walking through your own Home Digest and post it to social media. Add your Homebot landing page as the call-to-action so viewers can sign up and start receiving their own report. This is also a great way to re-engage past clients you only have an email address for — send the video and invite them to claim their free Homebot report.

Pitch agents and partners

Create a video walking through the Home Digest and pitch it to real estate agents — highlighting CMA requests, purchase potential, and selling potential. Add your co-sponsor URL or Freemium invite link as the call-to-action.
