Is a Preferred Partner the Same as a Co-Sponsor?

Preferred partners and co-sponsors are not the same. Here's a quick look at how they differ and where to manage each one.

Written by Erica McGarvey

Preferred partners and co-sponsors are two different relationships in Homebot, and they're managed in different places.

Preferred partners

  • A trusted real estate agent, loan officer, or insurance agent on a client's team, co-branded in that client's Homebot.

  • Free, and the partner doesn't need a Homebot account.

  • Notified when the client asks a question in their area of expertise.

  • Managed from a client's Team tab, or in bulk from your Partners tab.

Co-sponsors

  • A paid partnership between a loan officer and a real estate agent.

  • Both have Homebot accounts and share the cost of the agent's subscription.

  • Managed through the co-sponsorship. Co-sponsored agents can't be removed or replaced from the Partners tab.
