If you’re using YouTube to host your videos, make sure your recording is at least 60 seconds long. Videos shorter than 60 seconds are categorized as YouTube Shorts, which aren’t supported by Homebot’s video feature.
If your video is already uploaded as a YouTube Short, you can follow the workaround below to ensure it functions properly with Homebot.
You’ll know it’s a YouTube Short if it’s under 60 seconds long and the URL includes the word “shorts” - for example:
https://www.youtube.com/shorts/uxX4JVciz98
The workaround:
Simply replace /shorts/ in the URL with /watch?v= so it looks like this:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uxX4JVciz98
The above format will work correctly within Homebot.
