How do I unsubscribe or resubscribe a client?

There's no way to unsubscribe a client yourself — learn how to remove one, and how a client can resubscribe if they've opted out.

Unsubscribing a client

At this time, there is no way to unsubscribe a client yourself. Instead, you'll need to delete the client. To delete a client, follow the instructions below.

Step 1: Find the client in your account. Click on their name anywhere in blue.

Step 2: Click the blue edit button under their contact information.

Step 3: Click Delete and confirm

If a client unsubscribes on their own (via the link in a Homebot email), they can still access their reports through previous emails for a limited time. As a result, you may notice activity from clients who have unsubscribed.

Resubscribing a client

Do you have a client who unsubscribed but would like to start receiving Homebot emails again? CAN-SPAM requires explicit, documented consent when resubscribing a recipient.

To help your client resubscribe to Homebot, please advise them to follow these steps:

  1. Locate a previous Homebot email in their inbox.

  2. Open the email.

  3. Scroll to the bottom and click on "Manage Preferences."

  4. Select the option to resubscribe.

Alternatively, you may contact Customer Support directly to facilitate their re-enrollment.

Support

If you'd like an exported list of clients with Email Issues (invalid email, unsubscribes, marked as spam), or if you're still having trouble, please send customer support a direct message using the pink icon at the bottom right corner of your account.
