Login, Password & Account Access

Learn how to log in, set or reset your password, troubleshoot login issues, and manage account access.

Logging In

Navigate to homebotapp.com and enter the email address associated with your account. If you haven't set a password yet, use the Email me a link option to receive a magic link for password-free access.

👉 Tip: Always type your email manually — browser autofill can enter the wrong address and prevent login.

Can my assistant log into my account?

Yes, your assistant can log into your account. To allow authorized team members to access your account, simply create a shareable password. Learn how to set your account password below.


Setting Your Password

Passwords must be at least 8 characters and include:

  • 1 uppercase letter

  • 1 lowercase letter

  • 1 number

  • 1 special character (e.g. !, >, or &)

To set your password, navigate to the Account tab → Password section, enter your new password, and click Save.

If you haven't set a password yet, you'll receive a magic link each time you log in. Set a password to make future logins easier.


Resetting Your Password

From the Homebot login page, enter your email address and select Reset password. You'll receive an email with a link to create a new password. Click the link and follow the prompts.

Alternatively, select Email me a link for a one-click magic link that lets you log in without a password.


Troubleshooting Login Issues

If you're having trouble logging in, work through these steps:

  1. Go to homebotapp.com and type your email manually (no autofill).

  2. Check your inbox, spam, and junk folders for a login link or temporary password from Homebot.

  3. If you received a temporary password, use it to log in and reset your password immediately.

  4. Request a magic link for password-free access if you're still unable to log in.

Logging Out

To log out, navigate to the Account tab and select Log out at the top of the menu.
